General description Cuprinol Wood Preserver Clear is a water-based, colourless preserver suitable for both interior and exterior use. It provides deep penetrating protection to sound wood against decay, mould, and blue-staining fungi. Before application, ensure to remove excessive dirt, large areas of algae, lichen, or fungi using an appropriate fungicidal wash or cleaner. Wood that has been stained, painted, or varnished should be stripped back to bare wood before treatment. This product is not suitable for wood intended for in-ground contact; ensure that timber used in such conditions has been pre-treated accordingly.
