Limited, 11-year-old Lowland single malt matured in a first-fill Oloroso butt. Distilled in summer 2009 at a small farm distillery using estate barley, UK exclusive release with orchard fruit, spice and refined depth. An old-school sherry depth pervades, immense and dense; with water, the earthiness broadens and herbal notes ris Palate: A little more peppery and spicy than the nose suggested, but still displaying some wonderful qualities of leather, tobaccos, damp earth, stewed dark fruits and even things like ruby ales and black olive bread. With water it becomes unexpectedly sw Finish: Long and full of dark coffee and chocolate notes. Sweet dark beers, spiced breads and raisins.
