Soft Touch grips make cranking easy under all conditions. At its core, the Underspin 12 is built for unwavering reliability and strength. The foundation of this reel is the Hardbodyz™ Rigid Aluminum Alloy Construction, which provides a rock-solid, flex-free frame. This robust housing protects the internal components and ensures the rugged metal gearing remains in perfect alignment, even under heavy load. This translates to more efficient power transfer from the handle to the spool, giving you the confidence to battle larger fish. The smooth ball bearing drive system ensures every turn of the handle is fluid and effortless, reducing fatigue and enhancing the overall fishing experience.Casting performance is where the Underspin 12 truly shines. Daiw´s innovative design includes a unique rotating, Titanium Nitrided line pickup. This advanced feature turns with the line during the retrieve, a critical function that significantly reduces line wear, prevents frustrating twists, and makes winding smoother than ever. This technology works in perfect harmony with the Oversized line aperture, which is specifically engineered for maximum casting performance. It allows line to flow off the spool with minimal friction, enabling longer, more accurate casts to reach distant targets with ease. When you hook into a fighter, you need a drag system you can trust. The Underspin 12 features a smooth drag with an intuitive and easy rear adjustment, giving you precise, on-the-fly control to tire out fish without the risk of breaking your line. Comfort is also paramount for long days on the water. The ergonomic Soft Touch handle knob provides a secure, comfortable grip, whether your hands are wet or you´re wearing gloves.
