The ABS Longcast spool and Cross Wrap system ensure superior casting, while Twist Buster II minimizes line twist. Finished in iconic black and gold, this reel is built for heritage-loving anglers demanding peak performance. Discover the DAIWA GS BR LT 20, a masterfully engineered carpfishing reel that perfectly blends iconic, retro aesthetics with state-of-the-art fishing technology. This reel is a modern tribute to the legendary GS series, revered by anglers for decades, now reimagined and enhanced with DAIW´s groundbreaking Light & Tough (LT) concept. The result is a reel that is significantly lighter and more compact than its predecessors, yet boasts uncompromising strength, power, and durability to handle the demands of modern specimen hunting. At the core of its functionality is the celebrated Bite´N´Run system, a feature that sets this reel apart for the dedicated carp angler. This finely adjustable freespool mechanism allows a fish to take your bait and run with the line under minimal, controlled tension. This prevents wary carp from dropping the bait, giving you the crucial seconds needed to get to your rods. Once you turn the handle, the Bite´N´Run system instantly disengages, and the powerful front drag takes over, putting you in complete control of the fight. The reel´s exceptional performance is driven by the Tough Digigear. This digitally designed and precision-milled gearing system ensures an incredibly smooth and efficient transfer of power from the handle to the rotor. You´ll feel the difference with every turn, whether you´re retrieving a heavy rig from a distance or battling a hard-fighting personal best. This robust gearing provides the torque and resilience needed to subdue even the most powerful fish, season after season. When that fish makes a sudden, powerful lunge, the ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) system kicks in seamlessly. This advanced drag technology is less prone to initial inertia, applying progressive and consistent pressure throughout the fight. It reduces the risk of line breakages on aggressive takes and gives you the confidence to play fish with precision and control.Casting accuracy and distance are significantly enhanced by the ABS Longcast spool. The unique reversed-taper design allows the line to peel off the spool with minimal friction, enabling longer and more accurate casts to reach distant features or feeding fish. This is complemented by the Cross Wrap system, which ensures perfect line lay, preventing the line from digging in and further improving casting performance. To manage your line effectively, the Twist Buster II line roller drastically reduces line twist, a common issue especially when using braided mainlines, ensuring your line remains in optimal condition.Finished in the classic and instantly recognizable black and gold livery, the DAIWA GS BR LT 20 is more than just a tool, it´s a statement. It's designed for the discerning angler who appreciates heritage but demands the pinnacle of modern performance. With features like a convenient one-touch folding handle for compact transport and an Infinite Anti-Reverse for solid hooksets, this reel is the ultimate companion for any serious carpfishing adventure. tradeinn Waveinn
