DAIWA Crosscast 24 45 SCW C QD Carp Fishing ReelElevate your carp fishing experience with the newly refined DAIWA Crosscast 24 45 SCW C QD, a reel engineered for anglers who demand performance, distance, and control. Building on the legacy of its predecessor, this updated model combines cutting-edge Daiwa technology with practical design enhancements to deliver unparalleled performance on the bank. The popular Crosscast now features a new lighter rotor and an even more progressive QD brake, making it more responsive and powerful than ever before.Designed specifically for the challenges of modern carp angling, the Crosscast 24 excels at long-distance casting. The 45mm spool stroke, combined with the impeccable Slow Cross Wrap (SCW) line lay system, ensures your line leaves the spool with minimal friction. This slow oscillation winding pattern lays the line perfectly, reducing bedding-in and promoting smoother, longer, and more accurate casts, allowing you to reach previously inaccessible spots with confidence. When you hook into a powerful specimen, you need a drag system you can trust. The Quick Drag (QD) system has been made even more progressive, giving you the ability to switch from a free-running spool to full fighting drag in less than a single turn of the knob. This rapid adjustment provides ultimate control during intense battles, allowing you to react instantly to the fish´s movements, whether it´s making a powerful run or lunging near the net.The reel´s foundation is a robust DS4 polycarbonate frame, which provides exceptional rigidity and durability without adding unnecessary weight. This is complemented by the innovative Zaïon V Air Rotor. This advanced carbon composite material significantly reduces the rotor´s weight, resulting in a lower start-up inertia. The immediate effect is a noticeably smoother, more fluid, and effortless retrieve, reducing fatigue during long sessions and making it easier to feel every detail transmitted through the line. The combination of the DS4 body and Zaïon V rotor creates a perfect balance of lightness and strength.Practicality is at the heart of the Crosscast 24´s design. The spring-loaded HIP (High Impact) line clip is robust and line-friendly, allowing you to repeatedly cast to the same spot with precision without fear of damaging your line. For convenient transport and storage, the reel is equipped with a sturdy yet lightweight folding aluminum crank. The manual bail arm closure is a deliberate and essential feature for serious distance casters, preventing the bail from accidentally flipping shut and snapping off your rig during a powerful overhead cast. With its blend of casting prowess, fish-playing power, and refined engineering, the DAIWA Crosscast 24 45 SCW C QD is the definitive choice for the dedicated carp angler seeking a high-performance big pit reel that consistently delivers.Features:* Fast and progressive Quick Drag (QD) brake system* Bearings: 3 + 1 for smooth operation* DS4 polycarbonate frame for enhanced resistance while maintaining lightness* Fluid and lightweight Zaïon V rotor* Aluminum long-cast spool* Slow oscillation winding (Slow Cross Wrap) for perfect line lay* Folding aluminum crank for compact storage* Resistant, spring-mounted HIP line clip to mark casting distance without risk of breakage* Manual bail arm folding for secure castingSpecifications:* Size: 5000* Weight (gr): 600* Capacity (mm/m): 0.35/300* Ratio: 4.9:1. tradeinn Waveinn
