DAM Iconic Carp Small Unhooking MatPrioritise the well-being of your prized catch with the DAM Iconic Carp Small Unhooking Mat, an essential piece of fishing equipment for the conscientious and mobile carp angler. Designed with the highest standards of fish care in mind, this mat provides a safe, clean, and cushioned surface for handling, unhooking, and photographing your fish, ensuring they are returned to the water in pristine condition. Its compact and lightweight nature makes it the perfect companion for stalking sessions, quick overnighters, or any angler who values efficiency and portability in their bivvy setup. The primary benefit of the Iconic Carp Small Unhooking Mat is its unwavering commitment to fish safety. The moment a carp is on the bank, it is at its most vulnerable. This mat creates a protective barrier between the fish and the ground. The internal padding is specifically engineered to be thick enough to absorb the contours of uneven terrain, effectively preventing sharp stones, gravel, or hard ground from protruding and causing harm. This cushioning is vital for protecting the fish´s body and internal organs from injury.Furthermore, the mat is designed to protect the sensitive skin of the fish. The inner surface is exceptionally smooth and non-abrasive, a critical feature that helps to preserve the fish´s natural protective slime coat. This minimises stress and reduces the risk of infection, ensuring every catch can be released to fight another day. For the modern angler, demonstrating this level of care is not just good practice—it´s a responsibility.Convenience and portability are at the core of the Iconic Carp Small´s design. When your session is over or you´re moving to a new swim, the mat rolls up quickly and neatly into a compact cylinder. A simple yet highly effective elasticated strap is integrated into the design, keeping the mat securely rolled up for storage and transit. This thoughtful feature means it takes up minimal space in your vehicle, on your barrow, or within your bivvy, leaving more room for other essential gear.
