The Rhum Damoiseau Millesimé Full Proof 2009 was born following a rum campaign characterized by optimal sunshine and sugar cane with an exceptional sucrose concentration. The 2009 Vintage aged a minimum of 7 years in small oak barrels with a capacity of 220 liters. After aging, the rum was kept at cask strength of 66.9%. Nose: With notes of oak, tobacco and leather, this release is really quite unique. Palate:Being extremely balance with oak and the typical notes of a rhum agricole leave the mouth oily and long lasting. The finish is powerful and long with heavy tobacco notes.
