TRADITIONALLY DISTILLED: A powerful Speyside malt chosen for its boldness of flavour, Darkness is made using traditional worm tub condensers and partial triple distillation. 8 YEAR AGED: The single malt scotch whisky is matured for eight years in ex-Bourbon casks to develop a rich and intense flavour. CASK FINISHED: Darkness 8 Year Old Whisky is finished for no less than six additional months in custom made, hand-coppered sherry casks that impart an intensely sherried flavour. TASTING NOTES: Expect a fruity and appetising nose, with candied almonds coming through on the palate. A light smoke and sweetness lingers. REMARKABLY INTRICATE: Darkness Whisky is handcrafted in small batches. It’s non-chill filtered and the rich, amber colour is 100 Percent natural - with no added caramel colouring
