The rose is 51.2 mm across with a 6 mm projection and the spindle is an 8 mm square bar 90 mm long, which suits doors from 35 mm to 45 mm thick. The fixings sit concealed behind the rose, so no screw heads show on the face of the door. Wood screws and a hex key are in the box, so a screwdriver is the only tool you need. Aluminium levers with a sprung return, so each handle settles level every time you let go. The 145 mm straight knurled door handle lever gives a textured grip on a 51.2 mm round rose. The roses and the screws are finished in the same matt black as the levers. Matt rather than gloss, so black internal door handles like these keep door handles black against white or oak wooden doors without shine, and black interior door handles stay quiet in modern and period rooms alike. One box covers one door completely. Because these are door handles with latch supplied, the door handle set needs nothing else ordered and nothing beyond a screwdriver to fit. Fire rating: the tubular latch supplied here is fire rated to FD30 with a 1 mm intumescent pad and to FD60 with a 2 mm pad.
