Fabiola Wall Light Black by Danish designer Charlotte Høncke draws inspiration from vintage Italian design and effortlessly combines past classics with contemporary modernity. The design is elegant and sculptural, which is emphasised by the placement of the shade, the nonchalant slanted profile and the shiny brass details that give a luxurious look and complete the lamp. The lamp socket is located slightly below the lampshade and fits a GU10 light bulb. When you switch on the lamp, the light from the bulb shines up and hits the underside of the lampshade, from where it spreads out to the rest of the room in a soft, pleasant glow. The inside of the shade is white, so the light is reflected effectively and a very clear light image can be created. The outside is kept in a matte black shade that matches the rest of the lamp. The neutral colour gives the lamp a modern look and makes it easy to integrate into the interior design. The base, lamp head and the rod that connects the two are all touch-sensitive and are used to switch the lamp on and off. The lamp is available as a table, wall and pendant lamp.
