PoE is preferably used if no power supply is possible at the operating location and suitable devices can be powered at the same time via the incoming network cable. This PoE injector meets Gigabit Ethernet standard with a data transfer rate of 1Gbps and has a maximum output voltage of 48-55V and a power output of 60W. Two RJ45 sockets and a DC terminal block are built into the metal housing - power supply via pin 4/5(+) & 7/8(-) as well as pin 3/6(+) & 1/2(-) via the "PoE Out" network socket. The PoE output has short circuit protection, lightning and surge protection, as well as automatic terminal detection and classification for IEEE802.3at PoE+ and IEEE802.3af PoE. The injector can be mounted on a DIN rail with the help of the mounting clamp - the power consumption of the injector itself is max. 0.3W
