In underwater photography, minimizing the amount of water between your lens and your subject is crucial for achieving vibrant colors, sharp focus, and high contrast. This lens allows you to reduce that distance, resulting in dramatically clearer and more impactful images. The dome port design is specifically engineered to correct for the optical distortions and magnification effects that occur when shooting underwater, ensuring your photos and videos are sharp from edge to edge. It also enables you to capture stunning split-shots (over-unders), with half the image above the water and half below, opening up a new realm of creative possibilities for all Video-Photo Cameras.Key Benefits:* Expanded Field of View: Capture approximately 33% more of the scene with a 105-degree angle of view, perfect for vast reefscapes, large animals like whale sharks and manta rays, and diver portraits.* Superior Image Clarity: By allowing you to get closer to your subject, the lens reduces water column distortion, backscatter, and color loss, resulting in sharper, more colorful, and professional-looking content.* Distortion Correction: The optical-grade polycarbonate dome port corrects for underwater magnification and aberration, delivering crisp, true-to-life images without the pincushion distortion common with flat ports.* Creative Split-Shots: The dome port´s design makes it easy to capture mesmerizing over-under photographs, perfectly balancing the scene above and below the waterline.* Durable & Deep-Rated: Constructed from corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum alloy and built to last, this lens is depth-rated to 60 meters (196 feet), making it a reliable companion for all your recreational diving adventures.Main Features:* Wide 105-degree diagonal angle of view* Optical dome port design for aberration correction* Multi-layer anti-reflective coating on glass elements* Hard-coated polycarbonate dome for scratch resistance* Anodized aluminum alloy body for durability and corrosion resistance* Simple and secure mounting system for DIVEVOLK SeaTouch housings* Lightweight and neutrally buoyant design for easy handling underwaterTechnical Specifications:* Product Attributes: Lenses, Video-Photo Cameras* Lens Construction: 2 groups, 2 elements* Magnification: 0.7X* Field of View (FOV): 105 degrees (diagonal)* Dome Material: Optical-grade polycarbonate* Lens Barrel Material: Anodized aluminum alloy* Glass Element Coating: Multi-layer broadband anti-reflection* Mounting System: M52 thread mount* Depth Rating: 60 meters / 196 feet* Dimensions: Ø 92.8mm x 49.6mm* Weight (on land): 238g* Weight (underwater): 2g (near neutral buoyancy)* Compatibility: Designed for all DIVEVOLK SeaTouch underwater smartphone housings. tradeinn Diveinn
