The DMT DMT-W6FP Diamond Whetstone is a 150mm (6in) sharpening tool designed for kitchen use and honing smaller workshop tools. It features a large diamond surface suitable for sharpening a variety of knives and edges. The whetstone comes in a red plastic case with non-skid feet, and the base can be screw-mounted to a bench for stability. It has a 600 grit (fine) diamond surface, with a micron size of 25, and is available in multiple grades: Black (Extra Coarse 220, 60 micron), Blue (Coarse 325, 45 micron), Red (Fine 600, 25 micron), and Green (Extra Fine 1200, 9 micron). Suitable for use at home or in the workshop, it offers a faster sharpening action than conventional stones due to its micronized monocrystalline diamond surface. Oil-free, it can be rinsed, dried, or used with water, and its solid construction is designed for years of service.
