The Dormer A110 Metric Long Series Drill Bits are high-speed steel (HSS) drill bits designed for deep drilling and through-hole applications in steel and cast iron. They are suitable for both hand and machine use and feature a long reach for drilling deep holes across a wide range of materials. The bits have a cylindrical 10 mm shank and a 10.0 mm tip diameter, with a ground cutting profile and right-hand cutting direction. Their 118° conventional point is designed to allow easy re-grinding, and the product is manufactured to DIN 340, Type N standards, with a depth of drilling up to 6 times the diameter (6xD). These attributes support drilling deeper holes in various materials while maintaining compatibility with standard drill chucks and boring bushings in steel and cast iron.
