Dowsil 785+ is a one-part bacteria-resistant silicone sealant in Manhattan Grey designed for sealing sanitary fittings such as baths, showers, sinks, urinals, and ceramic tile joints. It provides strong adhesion to most non-porous surfaces, including ceramics and porcelain, and contains a fungicide to resist mold growth and protect against bacteria such as MRSA, E. coli, and Salmonella. The sealant cures quickly, with a skin formation time and a tack-free surface in about 30 minutes, and full cure within 24 hours, offering a joint movement capability of ±20%. It is suitable for domestic and commercial sanitary applications and can be used in kitchens and clean rooms when paired with a sealant gun and cartridge.
