Draper 83795 3mm Coarse Hand Taps Taper and Plug

The Draper SKC1B set provides two hand taps for creating precise internal threads in small-diameter holes. It includes a taper tap to begin the thread and a plug (bottoming) tap to finish, both designed for 3 mm coarse threads. Made from high carbon steel with accurately cut threads, the taps are intended for manual use and are compatible with standard tap handles and threading tools. The taps are packed as one of each tap on a display card, offering a convenient and easy-to-use solution for preparing threaded holes in suitable materials. Use the taper first to establish the initial threads, then complete the threading with the plug tap for a full-depth thread.
