Made from aluminium oxide abrasive resin-bonded to a strong cloth backing, these belts are suitable for sanding and finishing wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic, and fillers. They are 40 grit, feature an open coat grain to aid heat dissipation, and use a butt joint to minimise vibration for a more even result. The belts use a strong X-Weight polycotton backing for flexibility and durability and are compatible with all 100 x 1220mm sanders.
