Draper PTFE Tape, 12m

This PTFE tape is designed for water plumbing applications, providing a watertight seal on threaded connections and helping prevent leaks for reliable performance. It is made from PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and comes on a plastic reel with a dust cover, shrink-wrapped in singles with a label for easy handling. The tape length is 12 meters and it is compatible with standard threaded water pipes and fittings. To apply, wrap the tape clockwise around the male threaded end so the threads are evenly covered without excessive overlap, then hand-tighten or use a tool as needed. Use on clean, dry threads for best results. While effective for water-related tasks, it is not recommended for gas pipe work.
