The Specialist Barbel hook has an extra-long, incredibly sharp point that ensures immediate penetration upon biting, making it nearly impossible for fish to dislodge the hook once it's in their mouth. These are stealthy hooks which have a Teflon coating with a non-reflective, dull charcoal-grey coloration that blends into their surroundings much better than standard hooks, which is particularly advantageous in bright conditions. The hook features a slightly in-turned eye and is expertly finished to prevent hooklength breakage from eye abrasion during a fish's fight. The in-turned angle also renders the hook perfect for use with a Knotless Knot, making it suitable for both hair-rigged and conventionally hooked baits.
