Dulux Multi Surface Primer & Undercoat in White is a versatile, water-based solution designed to prepare a wide range of surfaces for topcoats. It functions as both a primer and an undercoat, suitable for interior and exterior use on wood, metal, and masonry—including block, brick, concrete, plaster, and previously painted surfaces. The formula provides good adhesion and creates a smooth, uniform base that helps topcoats adhere, while sealing minor stains and reducing the risk of flash rust on metal. The product offers low VOCs for a reduced odour and easier clean-up, making it suitable for DIY projects and professional applications alike. Quick to dry, it is touch dry in about 6 hours and ready for a second coat after roughly 2 hours. Coverage is efficient, up to 16 m² per litre, with a 2.5 L tin covering approximately 40 m². Application is straightforward with a brush or roller, and for best results, apply one coat on already-painted surfaces and two coats on bare substrates before applying the topcoat of your choice.
