Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat - 1L - White

Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat is the first part of a two-part water-based gloss system designed to deliver a strong, high-opacity base for a topcoat finish. It can be applied on interior wood and metal surfaces and is compatible with Dulux Trade Quick Dry Gloss for a professional-looking result. The undercoat dries to allow recoating in 4–5 hours and can be used to prime a range of substrates, including timber, non-ferrous and ferrous metals, and MDF.

This undercoat offers fast throughput and is suitable for both interior and exterior projects. It is formulated to provide a solid foundation for colour changes, with guidance suggesting that two coats of undercoat may be advantageous for strong colour shifts. The system as a whole emphasises quick-drying properties, enabling efficient project workflows when paired with the gloss topcoat.

Usage

1. Stir thoroughly before use.
2. Apply 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat as required, followed by 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Gloss.
3. For strong colour changes, 2 coats of undercoat are recommended.
