Made of a heat-resistant nonstick silicone material, our socks will repel the buildup of molten plastic. This really helps with sticky materials like co-polyesters and filler materials that like to accumulate in the nozzles. It offers a large increase in temperature stability, especially if you use a high airflow cooling around the nozzle to cool the print. The additional cooling combined with the reduction of heat radiation from the block and nozzle to the print actually increases the ability to print large overhangs and bridges, all while keeping the HotEnd temperature extremely stable.
