The EcoPlus XL Whole House Water Filter with scale prevention uses the latest in scale prevention and water filtration technology to filter the water for your whole home or business premises. Once installed the system will filter all of your water to a high level, prevent new lime-scale from forming, and slowly de-scale existing pipework - without adding any chemicals or salt into the water. 1st Filter: Whole House Water Filtration. Utilises a mix of ceramic type filter media to filters levels of chemicals / compounds including chlorine, to reduce the taste & odour of the water and improve overall water quality. This filter is recommended to be repleaced yearly, replacement filter code: WFMSUPER20BB 2nd Filter: Scale Prevention (Chemical & Salt-free alternative to water softening). The scale prevention filter media prevents up to 99.6% of lime-scale formation, to prevent future scale build-up and will also slowly de-scale existing pipework and appliances. This filter is recommended to be replaced every 2-3 years. Replacement filter code: WFM-20BBSSWF High Flow Rate: Ther filter housings utilise full bore fittings to minimise impact on water pressure, designed to work in homes with appliances sensitive to pressure including cold feed electric showers & Combi Boilers. Supplied with 3/4" BSP (22mm) threaded fittings attached. Wall mount the system and connect in-line with the cold mains water pipe.
