It features a micro-processor that monitors key parameters such as temperature, voltage, and current, providing protection against overheating and ensuring optimal operating balance. The intelligent charging system can accept a charge at any level, with automatic checks determining whether a fast, high-speed charge is appropriate or if conditions such as extreme cold or deep discharge require a gentler, lower-current charging approach to protect the battery and extend its service life. Each cell is managed individually to enable full charging and maximum power delivery, and overcharging is prevented so a charged battery can remain in the charger. A 3-stage LED indicator reports charge status and extreme temperature conditions. The battery is built with a triple shell design for enhanced protection and features a rubber-coated housing for additional impact resistance. The battery is compatible with the Power X-Change system and supports efficient, long-term use across compatible tools and chargers.
