TASTING NOTES. On the nose this rum is light to medium bodied with hints of tobacco mixed with caramel toffee. On the palate the 8 year old is distinctively smooth with a sweet mouthfeel with traces of oak and butterscotch. ARTFULLY BLENDED. Allowing both time and our unique Demerara climate to take their course, we lay down our oak barrels for decades at a time to imbue El Dorado with unsurpassed dimension and depth.
