ASTISENDO GRUPO EDITORIAL El Invierno Del Dibujante by Paco Roca - 10th Anniversary Comic EditionDiscover a masterpiece of modern European comics with the 10th Anniversary Edition of *El Invierno Del Dibujante* (The Winter of the Cartoonist), the celebrated graphic novel from ASTISENDO GRUPO EDITORIAL. Crafted by the award-winning author Paco Roca, this seminal work offers a poignant and meticulously researched look into a critical moment in Spain´s artistic and cultural history. It´s an essential volume for any serious collector of graphic novels and a profound reading experience for those who appreciate stories of integrity, rebellion, and the unyielding quest for creative expression. This powerful narrative transports you to the heart of the Spanish comic industry during a repressive era. The story masterfully chronicles life in the legendary Bruguera publishing house, with the stark reality of Franco´s dictatorship serving as a constant backdrop. At its core, it documents the brave and historic departure of its star cartoonists, who left the security of the publishing giant to found Tío Vivo, a new magazine that would allow them to obtain greater resources and, most importantly, maintain creative control of their own characters. This struggle to achieve greater freedom, in short, is presented as a compelling metaphor for the broader fight for liberty within the Franco regime. This is the framework and essence of *El invierno del dibujante*, a landmark work first published by Paco Roca at the end of 2010 that continues to resonate with audiences worldwide. To commemorate a decade of critical acclaim and cultural impact, this new 10th anniversary edition has been specially curated for both new readers and longtime fans. This definitive version elevates the original work and comes with a dozen pages of fascinating and exclusive extras that deepen the reader´s appreciation for the story and its real-world context. These special features include a brand-new six-page short story that expands the universe of the cartoonists, the iconic cover illustration thoughtfully expanded to a full wrap-around dust jacket, a collection of various posters made with the memorable characters of the story, and even a touching and historically significant thank-you letter from Francisco González Ledesma, one of the real-life protagonists of the story, written to the Valencian author for the publication of this comic. This edition is more than a book, it is a tribute to the artists who risked everything for their craft and a beautifully rendered piece of history.Technical Specifications* Product: El Invierno Del Dibujante Comic* Publisher: ASTISENDO GRUPO EDITORIAL* Author: Paco Roca* Language: Spanish* Category: Fan zone* Subcategory: Books and comics* Special Features: Includes 12 pages of exclusive bonus content, featuring a new short story, expanded cover art, posters, and a historical letter. tradeinn Techinn
