Description

Liki 24 The elmex JUNIOR SOFT toothbrush is the ideal choice for children aged 6 to 12 who prefer a particularly gentle brushing experience. To simplify brushing during the transition from baby teeth to permanent teeth, the toothbrush is equipped with X-shaped bristles that reach deep into the interdental spaces, allowing for better removal of food particles and plaque. The specially designed bristles of the elmex JUNIOR SOFT toothbrush are rounded and clean teeth particularly effectively during this transitional period. The ergonomically shaped, non-slip handle with thumb rest ensures controlled and safe handling. Thorough oral hygiene is especially important during the transition from baby teeth to permanent teeth. Baby teeth and loose teeth must be well cared for to prevent damage to the emerging permanent teeth. Furthermore, the enamel of remaining baby teeth is softer and therefore more susceptible to cavities. And the new permanent teeth are not yet fully developed. Tooth enamel only becomes fully resistant after about three years. To optimize dental care during this important period, we recommend using elmex JUNIOR toothpaste and elmex JUNIOR mouthwash in addition to your regular toothpaste. Proper dental care for school children: From the age of six, children are able to brush all surfaces of their teeth independently. However, they are not yet able to completely remove all plaque. Therefore, you should brush your child's teeth every evening before bedtime with the elmex JUNIOR toothbrush, paying particular attention to the newly erupting permanent molars, which remain lower than the chewing surfaces of the baby molars for a long time. We recommend brushing the permanent molars perpendicular to the row of teeth to remove food particles and plaque as effectively as possible. With elmex JUNIOR, you create the best conditions for your child's dental health. Brushing teeth – how often? Dentists recommend brushing your teeth at least twice a day, after meals, to achieve good oral hygiene. Using a fluoride toothpaste like elmex JUNIOR provides effective protection against cavities. Additionally, it is recommended to use elmex gelée once a week and a mouthwash daily. This combined approach significantly reduces the risk of cavities compared to brushing alone. Don't forget: Regular dental checkups are important. We recommend an examination every six months. Your dentist can detect early signs of damage and risks and give you valuable advice
