The newly developed membrane made from a paper-glass fibre mixture is processed in a special manufacturing process and is the optimal guarantee for the best possible sound. The fibre mixture becomes a real high-end membrane thanks to the ribbed stiffeners: this in combination with the extremely powerful ferrite magnet ensures exceptional dynamics, punches and drawing through the finest details. The fibreglass-reinforced polyamide plastic basket in the ETON typical double brace design is absolutely perfect fit and extremely torsionally stiff: the open construction also ensures the necessary cooling of the drive system, which is supported by the large core bore. Thanks to 3 Ohm voice coil technology and the special construction of the woofer, which does not require a separate woofer switch, the UG FIAT FD16 is particularly efficient - even in combination with factory radios! The woofer and the coated 25 mm (1") fabric tweeter form a perfect unit: the finest details are silky, soft and unobtrusive - tuned for long distances thanks to the easy-to-install tweeter cable crossover with level adjustment. Of course, all components have precisely fitting connection plugs or connection sockets.
