Everbuild PVA Bond 501 Universal 500ml

SikaBond PVA+ is a medium viscosity, polyvinyl alcohol stabilized, externally plasticised vinyl acetate homopolymer adhesive. It contains no harmful phthalates and is designed for use in the building industry as a versatile bonding agent, primer, sealer, and admixture for concrete, plaster, mortar, screeds, and renders. It can be used as a general purpose adhesive for porous substrates such as wood, cork, paper, textiles, and cardboard, and as a primer or sealer before plastering, painting, tiling, or when used as an internal filler when mixed with wood shavings or plaster. It enables thin-section applications, improves adhesion to dense substrates, reduces surface porosity and dusting, and offers quick drying.

Applications

Suitable for bonding wood, cork, paper, textiles, cardboard and other porous substrates. Acts as an admixture for mortar, screeds and renders, and as a bonding agent for plaster, cement screeds and render to surfaces such as concrete, stone and brick. Can be used as a primer or sealer in tiling applications and as an internal filler when mixed with wood shavings or plaster. Apply in thin sections on clean, dry surfaces. For priming, dilute with 4 parts water to 1 part emulsion as preparation for further coating.
