This substrate is soft and non-abrasive, ensuring it will not harm the delicate skin of amphibians like frogs and salamanders or the sensitive underbellies of snakes and lizards. It provides a comfortable surface for resting, exploring, and nesting.* Creates a Stunning, Naturalistic Visual: Move beyond basic floor coverings and create a breathtaking display. This substrate has an authentic, dark, and rich appearance that perfectly replicates a real rainforest floor, enhancing the natural beauty of your terrarium and its inhabitants. It serves as an excellent base for live plants, helping to create a truly bioactive setup.Main Features:* Exceptional Water Absorption: Designed to act like a natural sponge, this substrate can hold significant amounts of water, making it an effective tool for humidity regulation.* Heat-Treated for Purity: To ensure a safe start for your habitat, the substrate is heat-treated to reduce contaminants and ensure a clean, pure environment for your animals right out of the bag.* Completely Dust-Free: Poor air quality can lead to respiratory issues in sensitive species.
