Faithfull Flat Bits are designed to deliver precise, efficient boring across a range of materials. This 22 mm flat bit is forged from a single piece of carbon steel and heat-treated for extra strength and durability. It is suitable for drilling timber, MDF, plastics, and plasterboard, and can bore with or against the grain in timber. Most sizes feature a grooved tip and extended spurs to produce a clean cutting area and faster boring speed, while a non-slip 1/4 in hexagonal shank with a locking mechanism ensures secure engagement with adaptors or quick-release chucks. The bit is intended for rotary mode use and is not impact rated, so it should not be used with hammer settings or impact drivers.”
