What is it and what is it used for? The Farmalastic medium size patellar knee brace, beige, with infrapatellar band, is a physiotherapy product that helps prevent and recover from injuries. Its band allows it to be used for immobilization or to provide greater pressure and support, helping to relieve injuries such as dislocations, tendonitis and others. It is made of a material that is stretchy enough to be easy to put on, but firm enough to provide support. It contains two side bars that help keep the knee straight and in the correct position to prevent injuries caused by sudden movements. For maintenance, it can be washed with water and neutral soap at a temperature below 30 degrees Celsius. This will not damage the material and will help preserve its qualities for as long as possible. Who is it for? It is mainly indicated for providing optimal support to help recover from ligament and tendon injuries, as well as other conditions. It also serves as a preventive measure for people prone to knee injuries. The medium size is suitable for women and men with a knee circumference between 35 and 40 cm. Instructions for use It is recommended to insert the leg into the knee brace through the wider opening. Slide the product until it is positioned over the knee, ensuring that the patellar opening is aligned with the kneecap. The straps should be parallel to each other and aligned with the line crossing the leg. After completing the previous steps, your knee brace will be ready to use. If you wish to include the infrapatellar strap in your knee brace, place it around and below your knee area. Once in place, secure it with the Velcro straps, making sure it is adjusted correctly and provides the pressure recommended by your therapist.
