Set of 4 x compatible foam, 4 x compatible polycarbon and 170g compatible biomax suitable for the Fluval U3 internal filter. The plain filter sponges contain the biological cultures, biologically and mechanically filtering the aquarium water. The polycarbon filter cartridges remove small particles from the water, and the activated carbon chemically filters the water of impurities. The biomax provides a large surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonise to help biologically filter the water by removing ammonia and nitrite for clear, healthy aquarium water. Please Note: This is not a Fluval Product. This is a Finest Filters alternative which serves the same purpose as the original brand. Size (mm): 195 x 60 x 13
