Flamingo FM was designed to provide approximately 40dB attenuation for broadcast FM frequencies, while ensuring that adjacent bands are minimally affected. The -3dB rolloff of the filter is 80MHz and 115MHz, which means the VHF airband (108-137MHz) is minimally affected. The minuscule out-of-band insertion losses means the filter can stay in place for most any application The filter is fully EMI shielded, and installed in a custom black anodized aluminum enclosure for further protection and isolation. The front end is protected by an RF-rated ESD diode, which provides protection not just for your filter, but also the radio or SDR behind it Flamingo FM is a proper bandstop filter, so you are able to pass-through DC (bias-tee) power when required.
