FloPlast 40mm Solvent Weld Waste 40 x 32mm Black Reducer

The WS38B FloPlast waste reducer is a gravity-fit connector designed to join a 32mm waste pipe into a 40mm pipe. It is commonly used in the branch of a 40mm tee or at one end of a 40mm coupling, helping to streamline drainage layouts. Made from black ABS, the reducer measures 40mm by 32mm and is manufactured to BS EN 1455 with a Kitemark.

The component is intended for solvent-weld installation using SC250 cement. Clean the outer wall of the pipe and the inner wall of the fitting, apply cement to both surfaces, push the pipe fully into the fitting and twist to ensure full contact, then remove any excess solvent. Allow five minutes to set and cure for twelve hours before testing.

Usage

1. Ensure the outer wall of the pipe and the inner wall of the fitting are clean and free from grit or swarf.
2. Apply SC250 solvent cement to both surfaces.
3. Push the pipe fully into the fitting and twist to ensure full contact.
4. Clean off any excess solvent with a damp cloth.
5. Leave for 5 minutes to set.
6. Allow the installation to cure for 12 hours before testing.
