Our replacement flow restrictors are suitable for use with any reverse osmosis system using ¼” push fit pipe. It is recommended that you replace the flow restrictor in your RO unit each time you replace your reverse osmosis membrane to keep your system operating at peak efficiency. Flow restrictors create back pressure throughout the reverse osmosis membrane element and maintain a ratio of drain water to pure water at around 3 or 4:1. The flow restrictor is available as either 300cc, 400cc, 550cc or 800cc. Please see our recommendation below which restrictor to use depending on the size of the membrane in your system. These flow restrictors come complete with ¼” push fittings on either side, so it is just a case of pushing the new flow restrictor into the pipe, paying attention to the flow direction arrow. This assembly is also supplied with all required blue locking clips., Manufacturer: Finest Aquatics
