The 707 boasts current measurement (up to 24mA), current sourcing and current simulation (both up to 20mA) as well as slow ramp, fast ramp and step ramp which ensure smooth outputs. The user can change the output in 25% steps for linearity testing using a simple push button whilst other navigation can be performed with just one hand via the rotary dial. Percentage readings and mA readings are shown simultaneously on the backlit digital display. Current in mA is highly accurate (±0.015%) and precise to just 1μA. DC voltage measurement is also available from 0 to 28V whilst span check allows quick zero and span checking. An independent 24V loop supply means that a separate digital multimeter is not required whilst the Fluke 707 can also be used to inspect HART communicators. The lightweight, ergonomic design coupled with one-handed operation means that the Fluke 707 is extremely practical and easy to use.
