Designed for use with the FX range of Fluval filters but thanks to the included hose adaptors (1" (25mm) to 5/8" (16mm)), this steriliser can be used with other brand filters. With unique CCFL technology, the FX UVC bulb runs cooler to last 2X longer than most traditional lamps. It attacks green and cloudy water by applying powerful, DNA-destroying light emissions at a precise 253 nanometre wavelength.
