Cymbal S circular LED wall light by Jette Scheib The circular and ring-shaped elements that make up the Cymbal wall light are made of Samt, linen and wood. According to its name, Cymbal resembles a cymbal. The materials used for the lampshade, Samt and linen, create a cosy lighting effect. The light from the integrated LEDs is gently distributed throughout the room. The wooden element in the centre perfectly rounds off the cosy design. The designer Jette Scheib, who studied in Berlin and now lives in Barcelona, created the Cymbal luminaire series for the French design lighting manufacturer Forestier. On the importance of lighting, the designer says: "You can have the softest sofa, but if the lighting isn't good, you'll never be comfortable."
