Extraordinary Gravity 1 LED pendant light made of metal Unique design meets a very special lighting effect. This work of art, formed from numerous fine metal struts, combines different shapes and brings them together to create an unusual lighting concept. Gravity 1 is a pendant light with that certain something and takes centre stage in any room, even when switched off. A total of five large components form its lampshade – a downwardly curved shell with many gaps between the struts is illuminated from above by a cylindrical, narrow body in which a GU10 bulb is inserted. Further down, additional upwardly curved lampshades made of metal struts follow in various sizes and widths. In the centre, similar to a mushroom design, is an opaque metal body with an LED module in its head that scatters warm white light around the room. At the bottom is another cylindrical body with a GU10 bulb that provides selective, direct lighting. The designer of this light, Kateryna Sokolova, follows her guiding principle: "To create good design, you have to mix three ingredients: simplicity, functionality and passion." She sees herself as a cook and constantly creates new and distinctive products for the French designer lighting manufacturer Forestier. Forestier has three essential values: passion, freedom and discovery, which create a perfect balance between design and craftsmanship.

The lampshade’s combination of metal rods and circles contributes to the harmonious interaction between the shapes, which float together, creating a beautiful visual effect when the lamp is on. The light from the included LED bulb spreads evenly into the room through the circular elements on the lampshade, but the middle cone produces a focused downlight.
