A poetic interplay of light and shadow – the Papillon pendant light by Élise Fouin Élise Fouin is a young designer who places the material at the forefront of her work. Her work is underpinned by a poetic spirit. Papillon consists of three domes of varying sizes stacked one above the other; their numerous metal wires filter the light and create a unique interplay of light and shadow on the wall. The undulating edges of the domes are reminiscent of 1950s geometric design and, thanks to the airy design of the body, appear very light and as if floating. The light is completed by a fabric-covered cable that terminates in a round ceiling canopy in the same colour as the light.
