Handcrafted Parrot M pendant light made of rattan and abacá The Parrot M pendant light is made of rattan and abacá, a plant native to East Asia that is used, for example, in the manufacture of ropes, fishing nets and cordage. The handmade lampshade of the pendant light is reminiscent of this look, consisting of overlapping strips in different colours that create unusual patterns. The lampshade is a real eye-catcher and adds a natural touch to any living space. Parrot M is ideal for hanging above the living room or dining room table. The light bulb socket is located on the inside of the lampshade and is surrounded by a diffuser. This ensures that the light is emitted into the room without glare. The Parrot M lighting collection was designed by Jette Scheib. Before setting up her own studio in 2005, she studied product design at the Berlin University of the Arts. Since 2018, she has mainly been working in interior and lighting design, drawing inspiration from nature and organic forms. The renowned French company Forestier is responsible for manufacturing the lights.

Parrot is a colourful lamp with a beautiful natural design that makes it a must-have in any relaxed and bohemian-inspired interior. The lampshade is made of rattan and abacá, which are hand-woven in a dense pattern and have a rough surface that adds a tactile element to the lamp's design and emphasises its beautiful aesthetics. As the name suggests, the lamp is inspired by the colourful plumage and exuberance of the parrot. The colours interact beautifully in a cubist pattern that gives the surface a beautiful play of colour without appearing kitschy. The lampshade is relatively wide so it does not impede light emission. The lamp is part of a whole series that includes pendant, table, floor and wall lights in many different sizes. All come in three different colour schemes based on the shades brown, green and sand.
