ForgeFast Elite Performance Multi-Purpose Woodscrews are designed for superior wood applications with corrosion resistance provided by Elementech 400 surface coating. The non-Cr3+ yellow/zinc plated surface is environmentally friendly. Features include a deep Torx compatible head to reduce cam-out and increase torque, a patented drill/drive shank for faster drive and firmer fix, and a patented self-drilling thread that requires no pilot hole. The self-drilling shank enables easy penetration into hardwood, while the 35° flex reduces the likelihood of screw shear in substrates that flex. These screws offer strong pull-out and reduced splitting, making them suitable for load-bearing timber construction when used appropriately. The product also includes a free Torx bit with each box and is CE approved for use in relevant timber applications.
