These ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws are designed for interior timber applications and feature a Pozi-compatible drive with six underhead lobes to improve countersinking and reduce surface dust. The reinforced countersunk necks increase holding power, while an anti-friction thread helps prevent timber splitting, jacking, and spinning, and enhances drawing strength. The serrated thread reduces insertion torque and improves pull-out resistance. A double cutting point enables faster drilling and minimizes wood dust clogging, with the capability to pierce up to 0.8 mm steel. Coated with Elementech 400, the anti-corrosive finish lasts up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings, is environmentally friendly, and does not contain Cr6+. The coating has undergone Salt Spray testing to 400 hours, ensuring durability in interior woodwork.
