Elite Performance Multi-Purpose Woodscrews are designed for reliable timber fastening with a corrosion-resistant Elementech 400 coating. The non-Cr3+ yellow/zinc plated surface is environmentally friendly, and the screws are salt spray tested for up to 400 hours. They feature a deep Torx compatible head to reduce cam-out and increase torque, a patented drill/drive shank for faster drive and reduced splitting, and a patented self-drilling thread that requires no pilot hole. The screws can penetrate materials up to 0.8 mm steel with a sharp point for fast biting, and the assembly benefits from a hardened case and core for strength. They flex to 35° to lower the risk of screw shearing in substrates that flex, and are CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction. A Torx bit is included with every box.
