ForgeFast Elite Performance Multi-Purpose Wood Screws are designed for strong and reliable fastening in woodworking and home improvement projects. Coated with Elementech 400, they offer corrosion resistance and are salt spray tested for up to 400 hours. The screws use a non-cr Cr3+ yellow zinc plating, presented as environmentally friendly. A deep Torx compatible head reduces cam-out and enables higher torque for a firmer drive. The patented self-drilling thread and drill/drive shank allow faster driving with reduced splitting and jacking, increasing pull-out and fixing strength. The sharp point enables faster biting and can penetrate up to 0.8 mm steel. They are suitable for interior use and feature a recessed rib design to improve countersinking and reduce surface dust, with hardened case and core for enhanced strength. The design also allows flexing substrates to 35°, lowering the risk of screw shear in substrates that flex during use. These screws are CE approved for load-bearing timber construction and include a Torx bit with the box.
