Forgefix Carriage Bolts are zinc plated for timber-to-timber joining. Designed for woodworking applications such as furniture construction, building frameworks, and decking projects, these bolts feature a domed or countersunk head with a short square section beneath the head to prevent rotation during tightening. The set comes complete with hex nuts and is fully threaded up to 100 mm. Also known as Cup Square Hex Bolts, they conform to DIN 603 and DIN 934 standards and are available in sizes suitable for most applications. The zinc coating provides corrosion resistance by forming a protective barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if the coating is damaged, helping extend the life of the fastener in timber environments.
