The zinc coating protects the metal by forming a barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if damaged, contributing to a longer-lasting finish. Single-thread design provides higher pull-out values and quicker insertion, while the zinc oxide byproduct is a fine white dust that does not compromise the substrate’s integrity.
