ForgeFix Coach Screws are zinc-plated single-thread screws with a hex head, designed for high torque and fast insertion when driving with socket tools. They conform to DIN 571 standards and are widely used in heavier timber installations and for fixing timber to masonry. They are also suitable for satellite dish installations when used with appropriate wall plugs. The zinc coating provides corrosion resistance by forming a protective barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if the coating is damaged. Zinc oxide helps prevent substrate surface degradation, contributing to a longer-lasting finish. The single-thread design offers higher pull-out values and quicker insertion.
