ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws are designed for durable interior wood fixing with a universal Torx drive. They feature a self-drilling thread that enables quick penetration into timber without a pilot hole, and a patented drill/drive shank for faster driving, reduced splitting, and firmer fixation. The screws use Elementech 400 anti-corrosive coating for corrosion resistance and an environmentally friendly non-Cr Cr3+ yellow/zinc plated surface. A deep Torx compatible head provides high torque transmission and reduces cam-out for a firmer drive. The design includes a self-drilling shank capable of penetrating substrates including hardwood and steel up to 0.8 mm thick, with a sharp point for faster bite. Flexing substrates are less likely to cause screw shear, as the screws can flex up to 35°. These features are suitable for interior woodworking projects, furniture assembly, and light timber construction where a strong, stable hold is required, and they carry CE approval for load-bearing timber use.
